LR02 Specification

Car for FSUK Silverstone 2023 Event Finished 7th Overall

  • UoL Racing's First Time

    UoL Racing passed scrutineering for the first time.

This stage involves a comprehensive examination to check for compliance with all other technical rules. Some items covered in Safety or Chassis Scrutineering may be re-inspected. Driver Egress checks are also conducted.

The driver equipment, steering, suspension, brakes and driver’s harnesses are all checked in this stage to ensure compliance with safety standards specified in the competition rules.

The exhaust noise level of IC vehicles and the ready to drive sound for EV vehicles are checked in this stage to ensure they are compliant with the specified limits.

The brake test ensures that all four wheels receive sufficient pressure such that they can be locked upon hard braking.

The vehicle rollover stability is checked by tilting the vehicle at an specified angle, during which there must no fluid leaks from the vehicle.

Vehicle is weighed and then checked to confirm that it is built as described in the team’s SES and IAD submissions.
